Chickpeas with Salami and Greek Yogurt

These aren’t your average chickpeas, packed with flavors of tomato and tasty salame they are a great addition to any intimate dinner at home!

Recipe: for 4 people
Difficulty level: easy

2 cups of cooked chick peas
½ cup of Salame Milano thinly cut
1 scallion
3.5 ounces of tomato puree
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 clove of garlic
150 g of greek yogurt
Dry oregano
Sliced bread to serve
Salt and pepper

Step 1) Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the chopped onion and the salami.

Step 2) Sauté and stir often and, when the onion has become transparent, add the chickpeas and mix, letting them season for another 5 minutes.

Step 3) Add the tomato puree, salt, pepper and oregano.

Step 4) Continue cooking, covered, for another 15 minutes or until the sauce has reduced

Step 5) Serve with Greek yogurt and sliced bread as desired.
