our plants

Today Veroni is organized in four controlled companies and six plants, all located in Emilia-Romagna and specialized by type of product. Since 2016 we have been active in the United States with a slicing plant of 100% Made in Italy cold cuts that we import for the local market.

At the original Correggio headquarters we produce mortadella, precooked food, self-service and take-away products; in Langhirano and Sala Baganza (Parma) Prosciutto di Parma and all dry-cured hams; in Gazzata di S. Martino in Rio (Reggio Emilia) cooked ham and roast ham; in Castel Guelfo and Borgo Tossignano (Bologna) traditional salami and sausages.

We have recently completed an extensive renovation of our historic plant in Correggio to increase the production capacity and, thanks to the building of vacuum chambers and cleanrooms, enhance our offer of self-service and take-away products.

Our flagship is the production centre of Gazzata di S. Martino in Rio. A massive investment has allowed us to build a high technological plant, which today is among the most performing in Italy for efficiency and quality. The production area has been tripled and between 30 and 40 thousand hams are produced per week. The site is also a logistics hub of excellence with fully automated warehouses capable of holding up to 2,500 tons of products.

The company’s goal is always the continuous improvement of our products to enhance their special characteristics of goodness and authenticity, in compliance with fundamental standards such as the use of selected raw materials, the more scrupulous observance of hygiene requirements in the various phases of processing, rigorous quality controls and the balance between tradition and technological innovation.
